I. Project Background
Guangdong Zhongnan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (renamed from Shaogang Songshan on October 22, 2022, hereinafter referred to as "Zhongnan Steel") is a holding subsidiary of Baowu Group Zhongnan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., with an annual steel production capacity of 8 million tons and 5,458 on-the-job employees. In 2022, it produced 8.024 million tons of steel, achieved an operating income of 38.8 billion yuan, and ranked 274th in the Fortune China 500.
Zhongnan Steel actively promotes the construction of smart factories. The industry's first "Steel Smart Center" has realized large-scale centralized control, borderless collaboration, and big data decision-making for the entire steel production process. Through technological innovation, it has promoted organizational transformation, shifting from experience-based production to standardized, digital, and intelligent production.
In July 2023, to eliminate "3D positions" (dangerous, dirty, difficult), Zhongnan Steel introduced the Huibo intelligent train car cleaning robot system on the track basis of the original unloading line, applying it to the No. 2 unloading line for car cleaning.

Cleaning Effect:
Pre-cleaning reduces about 3,000 Kg of residual materials to 100-200 Kg;
Negative pressure cleaning sweeps the remaining materials to ≤10 Kg.

III. Project Effects
After the product application, the original team of 6 people was reduced to 3, helping the enterprise replace manual labor with mechanization. Automation has promoted the transformation of old and new driving forces, truly achieving safety, environmental protection, labor reduction, and efficiency improvement.
